We played it at a birthday party with ten children aged 6 to 9, and every single one of them loved it – boys and girls alike.
The story is beautifully crafted: the kingdom is in danger, and only when princesses and knights work together can the crown be saved. We especially loved that message.
The puzzles were wonderfully varied: sometimes the kids had to turn magic disks, decipher mirror writing, or find the runaway bead in a necklace; other times they had to trace their way through a labyrinth or solve a castle-tower puzzle.
What impressed us as parents the most: the scavenger hunt is explained so clearly that you can play it with minimal preparation. I only had to set up the stations, and we were ready to go. No comparison to the hours of preparation we used to do for DIY treasure hunts.
