After completing your purchase you’ll receive an email with a secure download link. Click the link to download a ZIP file or PDF directly to your device. Once downloaded, open the file in any standard PDF viewer (Adobe Reader, Preview on Mac, or your browser) and print on standard A4 or Letter-size paper.

We recommend printing in colour for the best experience, but the designs also work well in black and white if you prefer to save ink. No special paper or equipment is needed.

Your purchase gives you a personal-use licence. You may print the materials as many times as you need for your own family or event. You are welcome to run the hunt at a private birthday party, family gathering, or classroom (single teacher/class use).

What is not permitted is sharing, reselling, or distributing the digital files to others — including uploading them to file-sharing sites or sending the PDFs to other families. Each family or group should purchase their own copy. If you’re organising a large community event, please contact us for group licensing options.

Because our products are digital downloads, we are generally unable to offer refunds once the file has been accessed or downloaded. However, we take customer satisfaction seriously.

Most of our hunts can be set up in 20–30 minutes. After downloading and printing, you simply cut out the clue cards, hide them in the designated locations, and you’re ready to go. We design our hunts to be as stress-free as possible for the organiser.

Yes! The majority of our hunts work equally well indoors and outdoors. Each product description notes whether it’s best suited for indoor, outdoor, or both settings. Hunts like our Pirate Treasure Hunt adapt beautifully to a living room, garden, or local park.

If you’re planning an indoor party, check the clue locations suggested in the instructions — most are easy to adapt to your home layout. For outdoor-specific hunts, we always include indoor alternatives in the notes.

There’s no strict limit. Our hunts are designed to work with groups of any size. For smaller groups (2–6 children), children can work together as one team or in pairs. For larger parties (10–20+ children), simply split them into teams and assign each team a coloured set of clues — the hunt becomes a friendly competition.

You can print multiple sets of the clue cards to accommodate larger groups. One purchase covers all the copies you need for your single event.

Most of our children’s hunts run for 30–60 minutes of active play, depending on the age group, number of clues, and how much time you allow at each station. You can easily shorten or extend the experience by adjusting the pace or adding bonus challenges.

Our Murder Mystery Game for ages 15+ typically runs 90–120 minutes, making it ideal for a dedicated games evening.

British weather — we understand! All of our outdoor hunts can be moved indoors with minimal adjustment. The clue cards simply relocate to equivalent indoor spots (e.g. “under the big tree” becomes “under the dining table”). The instructions include guidance on indoor alternatives for key clue locations, so you won’t be caught out.

Not at all — our hunts are designed to be self-guided once set up. However, having one adult act as the “game master” to drop hints, add drama, or steer things along can make the experience even more memorable. The game master instructions included in every pack make this role easy and fun, even if you’ve never done it before.

For younger children (ages 4–6) we do recommend one adult staying close to help with reading clues and keeping energy levels up.
